CELEBRATING THE ARTIST IN EVERYONE SINCE 1977!

Festival Overview

This year during Ithaca Festival, we are getting ready for our 40th anniversary with the theme Celebrating Like It's Our First! Ithaca Festival is committed to putting together a weekend that everybody can enjoy by offering multiple musical stages throughout downtown with acts such as The Big Mean I-Town Revue, Sim Redmond Band, ‎Gun Poets, The Blind Spots, Empire Kings and so much more, charity basketball game and poetry workshop at GIAC, theater, comedy, and a book reading at Cinemapolis, horse and carriage rides along Court Street, craft and food vendors on the Commons and Cayuga Street, and tons of entertainment.

Festival buttons, t-shirts, and other merchandise are for sale in early May at Wegmans through festival weekend where you can find swag at our merchandise booths. This year's merchandise showcases local artist Trevon McBean's fun and festive depiction of Celebrating Like It's Our First. Your purchase of festival merchandise supports the festival's mission of celebrating the artist in everyone and supporting art in the community.

Don't forget to come out for the Ithaca Festival Parade, one of Ithaca's favorite events, on Friday, June 2nd at 6:30pm along Cayuga Street between Lincoln and Court.Bring your friends to Ithaca Festival, June 2nd-4th, in downtown Ithaca to celebrate Ithaca's rich musical, artistic, and creative culture.

Admission: Ithaca Festival is a free festival for everyone to enjoy, with 1,000 local artists and 10,000 smiles. However, because we are a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit organization, we rely on donations and the purchase of merchandise and festival buttons to support our ability to host the event year after year. We hope that everyone who attends the Ithaca Festival feels that their experience is worth the price of a $5 commemorative button.

Accessibility: If you have a disability that will require special arrangements to fully participate in the Ithaca Festival, please call us at 607-273-3646 or email director@ithacafestival.org before the week of the festival. As these arrangements could take time to fulfill, please contact us as soon as possible so that we can give you the best possible festival experience. For more information during festival weekend, go to the main merchandise booth.
